cost: its free but bring a covered dish if you can

At Painted Sky Ranch we teach horsemanship from the ground up. Students start as early a six years old and go up to adults. We start with safety and basics, tack up and equipment, horse care and graduate to the arena. Little ones can get a pony ride to overcome any unknown fears and develop of love of horses.

We start with how to mount, sit, steer, stop, then move on to walking. From there we teach how to engage a slow jog and how to post. Over time depending on student goals we teach all kinds of fun games and skills to compete in Fun Horse Shows and advance your horsemanship skills:

Our students develop life longs skills and friends and are part of the Painted Sky Ranch Barn family. Parents enjoy the barn time and have the student/parent lounge with WiFi to be with their kids and still be internet connected to keep up with work life.
